I found this on another forum I visit, and I think it has a good message, especially for those who wonder if they should carry their conceal carry weapon with a round in the chamber, or if they should leave it empty and chamber a round when needed.

You know how I feel.  I think this is a personal preference.  If you do, then do it all the time.  If you train to chamber a round when you pull your weapon, then do it that way.  It really is up to the person to decide how they carry.
